– Pick up at 12 pm.

– We do some basic grocery shopping at the local market, then me and me team will make some yummy snacks for the ride
– We get started with our private gondola ride to enjoy the music, the folklore, and most importantly, the Mezcal and Tequila tasting with our professional bartender and sommelier. The ride goes for two hours.
– We learn about the history of Tequila, and Mezcal, the difference between them, and as we learn about Xochimilco’s history-UNESCO World Heritage.
-Back to your hotel at around 5 pm.

Enrique organized our boat tour of the lake of the Floating Islands, and the boat ride was fantastic. We had a private boat for our group, with great food and drinks, and ultimately a mariachi band. My wife and her parents were extremely pleased by the afternoon’s boat ride: it was exactly the experience that they had hoped for.

Enrique gave us exactly what we were looking for, he took us to Xochimilco and we went to the old market, giving us a taste of what old, traditional Mexico is like, we went to buy ingredients to make guacamole on the boats. He arranged everything for us, boats, drinks, food and we spent a few hours on the lake, eating, drinking and learning about Mezcal and the historical importance of the lakes in the Mexico city basin.
